Shasta Tierra, Owner Way of Wellness

Shasta Tierra, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), is one of the very few western second-generation acupuncturists with over 3 decades of exposure to Chinese Medicine. As a licensed primary health care provider, she has been licensed since 1995 through the State of California Acupuncture Board. Shasta has a very broad background in natural healthcare having studied under her father and Miriam Lee L.Ac., O.M.D., who was the founder and former president of the American Acupuncture Association. She has worked for The Center for Integrative Medicine at O'Connor Hospital, as well as having lectured on Chinese medicine at the Stanford Center for Integrative Medicine and the Cancer Supportive Care Program. Shasta video "Acupuncture for Fertility", the number one YouTube video on the subject, has been released on DVD by Fairhaven Health products. Currently, Shasta is the clinical director of Way of Wellness and operates as a general practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine specializing in the treatment of infertility, women's health care, autoimmune and thyroid issues, and pain management.
